Hi, my name is Mark Saunders and welcome to the Paramount Distributor Company. I own a general repair shop in Michigan called Rush Automotive. After work the real fun begins when I start working on my testers! I specialize in Sun distributor tester machines like model numbers 400, 404, 500, 504, 506, 600 and 680. I also work on the military distributor testers and the early testers from the 40’s and 50’s. If you are looking to buy a distributor tester or want to repair yours, you have come to the right place. I offer high quality parts for testers and I am very thorough when repairing your tester.

I started out in this field in the 1990’s selling GM HEI distributors in a consignment shop and had to borrow a Sun 500 distributor tester from a friend. The tester didn’t work that well and I looked around and found a Sun 504 distributor tester and bought it. I liked the look and feel of the Sun unit and testing in my shop with my very own machine. Soon I thought I might need another tester as a back-up and bought a 404. I found that I liked repairing and rebuilding the testers as much as distributor work. First I cleaned out my hometown of all available distributor testers and then headed out around Michigan on a mission to buy every tester I could! Soon people from around the country were finding me to buy machines or repair theirs. Now I buy and sell testers around the country and have sent testers overseas to Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland & Turkey.
